and goodbye Manly :-(

Well today is my last day in Manly before I set off for my travels. I'm really going to miss this place - it has been great living here for the last 7 months. Being by the beach has been great. I have spent the last two days trying to pack up my stuff - you would not believe the junk I have accumulated in that time (although I'm sure my parents can believe it!!). I am off to Tasmania tomorrow where I am going to spend 2 weeks travelling around there with some friends. Then I'm going back to Melbourne, where a friend and I will drive from there to Adelaide along the Great Ocean Road which should be great (as long as we don't break down or crash!!). I then head to Perth where I will spend 3 or more months travelling around the west side of Australia. It's all very exciting - although I'm sure it won't take me long before I get fed up of my backpack again!! I've tried really hard to not pack too much but once again that has proved impossible!!

Anyway I will do my best to keep you updated with what I get up to - hopefully some of it will be interesting!!

For those of you who are interested I am planning on being back in the UK at Christmas time this year - thats as long as I don't get distracted and decide to go somewhere else!!

Goodbye Citibank

Once again I am unemployed - at least it was my choice. I had my last day at Citibank yesterday. All went ok, but I did work very hard - no chance of enjoying my last day in peace and quiet!! I have to say that in my last two weeks at Citi I have probably worked harder than the whole 5 1/2 other months put together!! I had to train someone to do my job which was exhausting and then get everything completed and make sure everything would run smoothly after I left. At least I am now out of there and I don't have to worry about it anymore!! So I now have 12 days left before I leave for Tasmania to sort myself out, pack, throw out loads of stuff and of course celebrate my birthday - just in case you guys don't know I'm 21 again!!

So with all this free time on my hands I think the first thing I'm going to do is go to the beach - Its a tough life!!
